INMOST Mobile – New Update & Changelist

A new update is now rolling out across iOS & Android for INMOST. Thank you to everyone who has picked up the game on Mobile so far.

INMOST, developed by Hidden Layer Games, is a cinematic and deeply atmospheric puzzle-platformer. You can check out the beginning of the game entirely free, and if you like what you see, purchase the full game via a one-time in-app purchase of just £3.99 / $3.99 / €3.99.

Over 1.2 Million Players

At the end of last year we also shared that INMOST has now surpassed 1.2 million players across all platforms. 🎉

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has bought INMOST, left a review, and shared the news with their friends. INMOST would not have been as big of a success if it weren’t for the amazing fanbase. But did you know, it wasn’t always smooth sailing for the 2-man Hidden Layer Games team…

Before we made INMOST, Alexey and I were struggling to make ends meet as contract game developers. Not only were we facing losing our business, but also our homes as we were on work visas.” says Andriy Vinchokovskiy, INMOST’s Technical Director.

I had sunk into a deep depression after burning out creating match 3 titles. It was worth it though, the demo went on to win us $30,000 at the DevGamm Awards. Enough to save our business, and ourselves from deportation.”

It’s crazy to think that since then 1.2 million people have played INMOST, and we’re really excited to be out on mobile, so we can speak with more players about the themes that matter to us. More than a few have told us the finale brought them to tears, and we simply hope new players find it just as meaningful and moving”
