Adventure awaits – Pathway is available now!

Wow, the last week went quickly! Today is the big day. After nearly 4.5 years in the making, the fantastic turn-based strategy game Pathway, from developers Robotality, has now been released into the wilds of the Steam, Humble and GOG stores.

It’s a fast-paced strategy adventure game set in the 1930s great desert wilderness, developed by Germany-based Robotality. You’ll outwit your enemies in daring squad-based combat, raid occult tombs and make tough choices in a procedurally generated grand pulp expedition!

It’s available for Windows, Mac and Linux, and is playable in English, French and German, with Japanese and Simplified Chinese localisations on their way! You can grab a copy for just $15.99 / €13.99 / £12.99.

It’s off to an amazing start with some glowing reviews, here’s a sample from TechRaptor who awarded it a 9/10!

Pathway encapsulates what makes “Indiana Jones” so fun to experience. Ancient mysteries, mysterious relics, Nazis, and supernatural threats are all here. I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the very digestible stories and cohesive combat, and the graphics were a treat to my eyes. If you’re yearning for a new adventure where everything falls together and just works, then you can’t go wrong with Pathway.

TechRaptor – Pathway review

We wanted to celebrate the launch with our Chucklefish community, by sending out 10% off coupons to those of you who already own a Steam copy of Wargroove or Starbound – so check your inventories if that’s you! (If it’s not showing up, try restarting Steam).

There’s also a Robotality Steam Bundle, which includes both Pathway and the studio’s first game, Halfway, which allows you to pick up both titles for a tidy 10% discount. Or if you’re looking to complete your collection of Chucklefish games, Pathway has also been added to the Chucklefish & Friends bundle which snags you 15% off.

We’ve been overwhelmed with love and support from the community with today’s launch, so a big thank you goes out to everyone who has picked up the game so far. Do come and join us in the Chucklefish Discord, where you can hang out and chat about Pathway with the developers. There’s also now an Official Pathway Wiki with handy tips and info, as well as a brand new Community Forum for discussion and support!

Have fun out there, explorers!
